Team Leader - Data Platform

We are looking for a Team Leader for the Data Platform & BI area who will combine team leadership (~10 people) with active participation in projects and the development of organizational competencies.

This role is ideal for someone who can lead people while staying close to technology and projects, having a real impact on the direction of data & analytics solutions.

Key technologies

  • At least 5 years of experience in Data Platform & BI
  • At least 2 years of experience in team leadership or a leadership role (tech lead / team lead)
  • Broad knowledge of:
    • Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Lakehouse
    • Data architecture and analytics platforms
  • Experience working with technologies such as:
    • SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric
    • Cloud solutions (Azure / AWS / GCP)
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI)
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience working with clients (workshops, presentations, consulting)
  • Experience in delivery and pre-sales (solutioning, offer preparation)
  • Knowledge of trends and approaches in data architecture
  • Very good command of English

What will you do?

  • Leading and developing the Data Platform team (approx. 10 people – data engineers)
  • Combining a leadership role with active, hands-on project involvement
  • Responsibility for delivering solutions for clients and internal initiatives
  • Building a growth-oriented environment – mentoring, feedback, technical support
  • Creating and executing development plans, goals (OKRs), and competency paths
  • Motivating the team and ensuring high employee engagement
  • Collaborating with clients – gathering requirements, providing technological consulting, participating in workshops
  • Supporting pre-sales activities (offer preparation, solutioning) and contributing to offer development
  • Collaborating on building and developing Data Platform & BI competencies within the organization
