The ideal candidate possesses strong experience in Azure Infrastructure and Security, as well as expertise in maintaining data and reporting platforms. This key leadership role oversees the entire DevOps lifecycle, including Data Platform Maintenance and Data Observability, ensuring the effective implementation of DevOps and security processes for our customers. We seek a leader who will drive domain development, serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, and actively participate in sales initiatives.  

Domain Lead involves leading and managing a team of professionals who administer and maintain data platforms and solutions for our customers. A perfect candidate typically has a background in DevOps tools and practices, has experience in administration and maintenance, and knows how to set up service operations for large customers. Candidate also needs to have good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, as well as a data-driven mindset and a passion for automation. 

You will collaborate with a team full of energy and willingness to implement interesting projects with clients from the Enterprise sector around the world. 

 

What makes you a great fit?

  • 5+ years of experience in configuration/release management, deployment, maintenance and familiarity with various DevOps tools and practices in data area 
  • 3+ years of experience in leading service operations contracts, service management 
  • 3+ years of team management experience  
  • Expertise in Azure Cloud, other clouds AWS, GCP are nice to have 
  • Conceptual and technical knowledge on CI/CD Pipelines, Automation Practices, Technical Operations Monitoring, IT support, on-call support 
  • Excellent client facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing & demonstrations 
  • Experience managing both pre-sales (offering and solutioning), managing the capability and being responsible for the delivery. 
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical implementation 
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture and technology trends, with specific focus on the Microsoft ecosystem 
  • Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written) 
  • Open minded, self-driven, eager to learn new technologies and put newly acquired knowledge into practice

What will you do?

  • Lead DevOps at Elitmind, including team management and development of Azure Data Platform Landing Zones (approx. 20 staff). 
  • Lead Azure Cloud competency team to deliver Road to Cloud and Cloud migration projects. 
  • Act as trusted advisor for SLA contract maintenance. 
  • Develop and execute DevOps service offerings and sales strategy in data platform administration. 
  • Provide technical roadmaps and architecture for clients. 
  • Research and implement industry trends and best practices. 
  • Oversee contract delivery, staffing, and SLA fulfillment. 
  • Ensure platform reliability and performance monitoring. 
  • Establish internal procedures and standards for development and operations. 
  • Manage and scale teams as needed. 
  • Maintain high availability for all environments. 
  • Gather client requirements and prepare work estimates. 
  • Plan domain development and execution roadmap. 
  • Lead Center of Excellence initiatives, sharing best practices and reusable frameworks. 
  • Monitor and manage project pipeline for the domain.
